Bring your animation to life with sound. Openverse SFX helps you find, preview, and add openly licensed audio without leaving LottieFiles Creator.

• Find whooshes, impacts, clicks, ambience, and more, starting with Freesound.

• Explore other Openverse sources and narrow results by duration, license, intended use, and file format.

• Listen before adding, seek through the waveform, and loop a preview to hear the details.

• Save favorite sounds and find them again when you reopen the plugin in the same browser.

• Add audio at the playhead or scene start, with the option to extend your scene to fit.

• Check each sound's source and license, and keep its attribution with the audio layer.

After adding a sound, use Creator to adjust its timing, volume, and fades. Supported files are MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, and OGG, up to 20 MB. Some files may be unavailable from their original provider; you can open the original source from the sound's details.

Each sound has its own license. Check the terms before using it, especially for commercial projects or edits.

No Openverse account is required. This is an independent community plugin.

Searches and audio files are loaded from Openverse and the original audio providers, which receive normal request information such as your IP address. Favorites stay in this browser and do not sync across devices. Attribution stays with the added audio layer. The plugin has no built-in analytics; Creator's own storage and platform policies also apply.
