Script Editor

The Script Editor allows you to write and execute scripts with the Creator API. This means being able to automate repetitive tasks, experiment with the Creator API, create programmatic animations, and more!

A real editor, not a text box

The Script Editor is loaded with the complete Creator API type definitions. You get autocomplete on every property, inline type errors before you run, and hover information on the methods you're reaching for.

Start from a template

On first open you get a Templates folder showcasing common scripting use cases:

• Animated shapes — create, style, and animate a rectangle

• Importing assets — bring images and animations into the scene

• Storing data — save and read values through client storage and node data

Save your scripts

Scripts live in folders in the sidebar. Create folders, drag scripts between them, double-click to rename, delete with a confirmation step. Everything saves to your browser, so your saved scripts are there the next time you open the plugin.
